    hmmm

There there...it could be worse. Sean Dyche in the Championship is a lot better than Frank Lampard.

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine, mate, although I imagine that's what is so horrible about it. You'd have made peace with it if you were 19th right now.

I'm not very good at comforting. Someone else try.

Maybe the real relegation battle is the friends we made along the way

Also is this the only place on the internet a Liverpool fan is the first to comfort an Evertonian on the likelihood of relegation?

Tbf I think the Liverpool derby is a pretty friendly one in the grand scheme of things. Feels like Liverpool have a more Us vs The Rest of the Country vibe ha.

I did immediately imply that they'll be playing in the Championship next season.

Indeed. It's the hope that kills. I know that's such a cliché saying but it's so true when you're put in this position as a fan. One minute you're making peace with it (like I've said in this very thread) and the next you're back to "believing" again. I'm at a precipice.

That said, if we can't beat Bournemouth at home in a "nothing" game for them then we're 100% the architects of our own demise and deserve the rebuilding process that naturally comes with relegation.

Yeah, it is friendly. Well, in Liverpool itself it is. You can share a pint and have a laugh with Reds. It's the fans outside of Liverpool/surrounding areas who don't quite understand the historical importance of both clubs that make the rivalry uglier than it ever is in the city.

    Everton vs Bournemouth at home
Leicester vs West Ham at home
    Leeds vs Tottenham at home

Tottenham is the only opponent playing for something on the last day. West Ham is high flying. The “hope” of believing Everton can escape with even a draw seems pretty believable.

From the outside it definitely seems like Liverpool (the city) hate the rest of England before they hate each other.

  11. Why doesn’t Tomori ever make the team?

Yeah, probably why I like it. Great place, great people. Don’t put up with the Tory shite other places do.

  14. This feels inevitable but in true Spurs fashion, it’ll take 3 weeks to get it done.

Pretty much exactly what he did to AZ lol. Can't blame him, mind you.

  16. I get that argument but I don’t really see it as a red flag. I mean, he has the opportunity to greatly increase his salary and compete in the most popular league in the world. When you’re talking clubs bigger than us, there aren’t very many. If one of those clubs came calling, there are very few managers who would say no. So I don’t think Spurs have to fear that scenario as much as a club the size of AZ and Feyenoord do. It’s a big club in the biggest league. If there’s success, why leave?

Milan fans say he's not been that great this year, not that it stops Maguire being picked.

If Real/United/Juventus or someone similar comes in for him, I don't think you'll feel this way lol.

That said, who cares. Football is a ladder, take what you can. Everyone wants to get to the top, whether you're B tier or D tier.

Mudryk mocking an older man trying to exercise. What a dickhead. Why are you even in a public gym?

That guy has scored as many Chelsea goals as you.

Lads, I think Pep reads this thread. He's only gone and put 4 new academy players on the bench for tonight.

Chelsea. It’s right there on his shirt in the picture.

This isn’t even a bit, I’ve seen him play so many times and I couldn’t tell you the first thing about him.

It’s also weirdly funny how highly rated he is by everyone except United fans.
