Courtney Marie Andrews - Loose Future (October 7, 2022)

Saw her open for City & Colour over the weekend and she was fantastic. I had never heard of her before.

There was a song I absolutely loved but didn't catch the name. The chorus of the song was something like "The world keeps spinning whether you want it to or not." Something to that effect. Anyone know what the name of that song is?

 

I catch her live whenever she comes to the Bay Area, she’s incredible!

I don’t recognize that song off the top of my head. I did some digging and found a song called “It Keeps Going” which has somewhat similar lyrics. It’s off one of her earlier albums that I’m not as familiar with.

 

I love her. I don't listen to much of her pre Honest Life work but I should

 

I think she has five albums before Honest Life? But the first three aren’t on streaming services to my knowledge. Need to see if I can find those to download. First album I heard of hers was No One’s Slate is Clean, which I absolutely adore. I haven’t spent as much time with On My Page for whatever reason, I should remedy that.
