Just found out this was announced. Colo(u)r me excited!

 

Due to various circumstances I missed out seeing Alex last couple of times she was near Oklahoma. The upcoming Texas dates are on a weekend so I'm determined to go

 

Stoked for this one! Love the new songs as well, I have high hopes for this. My wife has never been a big fan, so I will be flying solo to the Durham show if anyone's trying to smoke a joint and have a White Russian before hand!

 

Really enjoyed her first record but thought the second was extremely bland. Hope this one wins me back over.

Listened through once this morning - I like it but for now I don't think it's as good as the last 2 full lenghts. the final 2 tracks are really great

 

I think this is pretty easily her best album. Makes Me Sick is the only weak spot IMO. And You’ll Never Get Your Money Back is an absolute bop

Realizing now that I thought Permanent was track 9, not They Wouldn’t Let Me In. I don’t like They Wouldn’t Let Me In at all

 

Looking forward to this. Money Back got a (now rare) Best New Track at Pitchfork. Wonder if she gets the same for the album which could probably help bump her up a couple of font sizes on festival posters. I've been a fan since the first EP and would love to see her keep levelling up in that way even if none of her work has quite knocked me over since Every Day's The Weekend (hoping that changes with this new one).

 

Not bad at all on first listen.

 

The Sky Is Melting is my favourite here, it’s so good.

 

Was super bummed I have to miss the Atlanta date on her current tour (it's the same night as Paramore in Orlando) so I took a trip up to Philadelphia and DC to see her perform there. Both were really awesome shows at venues I love plus I really enjoy the new album and she played a bunch of songs off of it along with kick ass cover of "Torn" aka Australia's national anthem.

 

Saw her last night in Durham. There were probably like 75 people there tops, but she put on an absolutely killer show. Tough spot for an artist at an under-promoted show on a Monday night, but it was still a special night. Glad she could make it to our little corner of the world. The new album is phenomenal.

Do it! She's so worth it. The whole bill is worth it, just a bunch of rad people playing rad songs

 

I saw her in Chicago about two weeks ago and she was great. Liza Anne is a fantastic opener!

 

I think 4 years ago she was in Dallas the weekend of my birthday and I couldn't afford it. Last February or January she was in Tulsa with The Regrettes in the middle of the week and I couldn't swing that. I'm very tempted!

 

I've seen her four time and two of those times she's been great, the other two times she has been average - but for venue-related reasons, rather than anything she's doing wrong.
