They were just called Ice Nine and used to advertise on the old old AP.net all the time. I'm sure there's music floating around.

 

They truly trend hopped until they found something that worked. They used to get clowned on so hard and now they open for Metallica and sell out massive shows. Truly nuts.

I truly want to know how they became like the house opening band for Metallica. They've been on almost all of their tours as the opener for the past couple years. Just seems like a weird act to keep bringing back.

Metallica picks all their openers at this point so someone is a fan. Someone in Metallica being a fan of five finger bothers me.

 

I was thinking maybe one of their kids is a fan or something. But I could see one of the main members being into them too

 

they told some story once of the tour where they picked Gojira to open, they had like 78 potential openers to choose from to narrow it down.

 

Kirk Hammet is a huge horror fan, so maybe he likes their gimmick and personally choose them

 

This Taylor Swift ticket hysteria is really something else. I'm not a fan (not a hater just never got into her) but it's wild to me that even to sit at the very top with obstructed view at Metlife it's still $2k. Does anyone remember on her 2017 tour if that was also difficult to get into?

I actually had to sell my extra Rep tickets for a slight loss.

 

I’m intrigued to see what the SoCal lineup is

 

Why doesn’t she just have management tell TM to cancel all tickets being sold above resale via third parties? The Cure and Pretty Lights just did this.

Like there’s a very simple fix but she’s not doing it for whatever reason. Not that she needs good PR but it’d be really cool to see those tickets go back on sale and give real fans a chance to attend.
