Having seen this line-up and last year’s, I think I’m gonna have to commit to going after the four year FF revival is over next year. They’re knocking it out of the park, but can only make one festival work in any given month.

We already know the two headliner names that would warrant a line-up drop at a rock station hah.

 

I wont be against them coming back to Riot. But it feels to soon as they headlined 2 years ago

 

I hear you, it was just impossible for me to ignore with all the hints we've been getting the last 24 hours. I don't think it's impossible but not super likely, like if they play Siamese Dream for the 30th anniversary or something.

 

Prolly rules out Mest.

 

Not that Mest is the epitome of class or anything, but bring Makeout AND Keep Flying on tour is something.

 

What’s wrong with Keep Flying?

 

Their sax player covered up a sexual assault allegation against a friend of his and intimidated and threatened anyone who talked/posted about it online. He was fired as The Wonder Years' tour manager because of it.

Not that I'd expect Mest (or anyone really at this point) to know or care about it. He's still really well connected. It just bothers me every time I see them getting big opportunities.

 

I know about Keep Flying, but what about Makeout? What’s up with them?

dropkick murphys / interrupters just announced a fall tour, doesnt start til a week after riot, but does have a Rockford IL date in late october. wonder if thats what interrupters were talking about, or if they also doing riot and hitting chicago 3 times in a year, we will know in 30 mins i guess

 

I think it's basically all new band members since then, including the singer

Holy shit. Wasn’t expecting The Cure. Wonder if they’ll do more North American dates this fall?
