Tomlin was the biggest factor for me, not to mention the additions they made to the offensive line, but, to my understanding, Pickett finished the season strong so I think there’s definitely reason for optimism with them. The AFC is so stacked that I think they’re on the outside looking in, but I can see them sneaking into the playoffs if a team I have ranked ahead of them falters for any reason

 

This is why rankings are stupid. They're meaningless but now I'm mad online because of the absurdity of having the Steelers at 16 vs. the Patriots at 24 because "Mike Tomlin is a good coach and Kenny Pickett showed some promise in his rookie year." Love you Dink, but that's some tomfoolery lol

Hey man, I get it. I did ask myself the same question and thought that Bill O’Brien holds them back, but then doesn’t Matt Canada hold the Steelers back? I think so too, so I guess the deciding factor is that I like the Steelers WR and TE depth much more than the Patriots and that matters a lot to me.
