Eh, I don’t really think any of those are contributing to the hype, just supporting other people being excited about them because I didn’t *dislike* the chargers

the first one was jokingly referencing it because we were mock drafting and group picking for the Chargers

the next two are like, “yeah y’all can be excited and Bolt Up, but let’s hit the brakes here”

“Normally I am down for that BUT”

    “I support that generally BUT”

definitely have never been one of the ringleaders of the Bolt Up squad overhyping the Chargers and Herbert. I liked how they built their team/the talent they had and that’s as far as it went

I’m good with Dallas and Baltimore still being ranked above us… Trevor BARELY pulled out those wins. But you simply can’t say a team that lost TWICE to another team that isn’t even a division rival, in one year, is a tier above. That makes no sense. Worse teams can steal one win but twice in a season is no fluke.

You can put us in the same tier and say that you like their roster better but that the coaching & Herb didn’t step up in our matchups. That’s fair, that happens. But separating tiers is hilarious

Good thing the Chargers fired their hack OC for a much better one and are getting players back healthy

This is why this metric sucks though because in this case a tier means, what, .8 points difference in a betting spread? In the case of the Chargers, 1.2? Like at the end of the day who cares about 1 extra point being favored to them against a neutral opponent?

Did any projections from last season have the Broncos give up a top 5 pick or Geno Smith lead the Sehawks to the playoffs?

Projections are pretty meaningless, some of it will be right, abit of it will be wrong, so who cares

Don't bend yourself out of shape about them

    Lets Go. Prestigious

    my comments:
    - I do not accept Dallas and Seattle above Miami. I am now mad online!!!!
    - I know you hate SF, but they are too low.
    - Ravens too high

I will say though I will be very disappointed if my team is giving up a top 5 pick again, the roster has enough talent and coaching to get back in the middle of the pack

But they have to show it first so that';s why I'm fine with people still putting them bottom 5 because they have to prove it

I understand. Honestly, I could put Miami as high as, like, four or five. I’m just concerned about their offensive line and Tua’s health. I feel like they and the Jets have the most variance this season. I could see myself ranking them higher as we get closer to the season.

I also considered moving the Niners up much higher, but they have a huge question mark at QB so that’s why I pushed them further down.

As for the Ravens, I considered putting them a bit lower too, but I have a lot of faith in Lamar and I’m optimistic for what Todd Monken’s offense will look like. I also don’t see a glaring weakness on their roster at the moment. WR is obviously a question mark, but I think they’ve done a much better job addressing their depth there this offseason than any other year in the Lamar era.

I have a ton of faith in Lamar too. Ravens fans are so under appreciative of what they have in him.

Too many of them think it’s his fault he’s getting hurt and it’s his fault they had too many improv plays that went bad this year,

and are holding no accountability for the Ravens training staff (which is clearly not doing a good job at preventative care for anybody)

or Greg Roman (whose offense was ALL about flanking the defense laterally with misdirection, and didn’t have many nuanced ways of creating anticipation windows downfield)

Lamar was on a team that is always hurt, coached by an OC who can’t draw up sophisticated pass plays and NEEDS to rush for nearly 200 yards a game as a crutch. I think a new OC could revitalize the side of Lamar we saw when he threw 31 touchdowns and won MVP
