It's so annoying that almost all medical record transmission is through faxing. And since we need MD signatures for our PT plan of cares, our office is faxing shit all day long.

 

yeah I actually fax stuff for work lol. But through email so it doesn’t count.

Yup medical offices will never let faxing die - worked at a Cardiology office for 6 years and they still fax probably 100 things daily

 

Even more infuriating is that MD offices will fax back entire notes/reports when all we need is the signature page. Like we have all of the other stuff we don't need it back, it's such a waste of paper.
