I wish they would do a deluxe of “Narrow Stairs” and “The Open Door EP.”

  2. All four songs on the Open Door EP are better than any on Narrow Stairs imo. Already own it

Settled for /1000 variant. Was bummed the /100 sold out as I was checking out. Oh well just stoked to have this finally and not have to pay SRC for it.

Gonna Ride My Palomino, Ride 'im to the Fair.

Do you folks in Canada live near record stores? Legit question - sometimes they can get these pressings and you can bypass the shipping. If the commute is light, it can save on those shipping fees. They essentially prevent me from buying everything.

Also, Hi everyone - I'm new here. Been floatin' around the forum and finally signed up.

Well crap. Now I feel conflicted. Didn’t see there were other variants outside of the smartpunk ones. I like the bone/coke bottle one but would have to cancel my initial order.

Anyone trying for any of the limited edition pic discs from Interscope later?

I'd love to get a copy of that good Kid maad city.

  9. Oh, I’m from the states myself! But yeah I did go that route once with a local shop. Can’t remember what it was for, but it somehow wound up not being less expensive haha - could’ve been the country it was coming from or something. I should try that again though

    And welcome!

Was the Copeland 3 Pack just 3 different variants of BMT?

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Does anyone know if this Copeland variant has When Paul Sparks/California on the same side?

BMT was my first vinyl purchase back in 2010 and at least for the time being is now my most recent purchase. My collection has come full circle

A sad update to this. The record finally returned to 1234 records after more than a month crossing the country. As you can imagine, the record sleeve was pretty fucked up. They said a repressing is unlikely and they are sold out.

So, they offered me a full refund or a partial refund and they’d re-ship the record as is.

My mother is a former postal employee and always says avoid media mail. It’s not given the same treatment any other parcel or piece of mail is given and zero insurance. They’ll sometimes get stalled on trucks and bins and only move to the next step if there’s room. But with costs, there’s no choice sometimes.

We determined the issue and it’s mostly on me.

I typed in my street address fine, but in my haste I typed Chicago, IL and not Oak Park, IL. We recently moved and my muscle memory (or autofill) took over. But the end result is the address I put down doesn’t exist.

Ideally, the USPS should have known right away that there was an incongruity and just returned it without jerking or around the country for a month. But I don’t fault the record store for that.

Okay, in that case you actually have to send them a free record. Sorry.
