i dont agree but, i am not going to strongly disagree

 

Numbers wise, sure, Trevor hasn’t “accomplished” what Herbert has “accomplished”, and the gap is too wide to just say “Herb has better weapons” (even though that’s obviously true).

But Trevor showed this year that he definitely has several more loud barking dogs in him than Herbert… and took a worse team to a playoff win over playoff-winless Herbert’s stacked team in less time. So.

 

Sounds like Jets might open up against Herby and the Chargers Week 1 (MNF)

 

Its not Herbs fault who his coach is. Give that team Doug and they're golden.

Or the Chargers are forever cursed regardless of coach.

 

If it’s about numbers, fine. Herbert. If it’s about exciting games in the regular season, yeah I’ll admit that Trev was disappointing his first year and a half, and those four fumbles vs Philly / that needless second INT that lost us the game vs Denver really hurt. Trevor is sharply inclining though, he will reach Herb’s production level, and it may be as soon as this year. I’m not concerned about that - he’s a younger QB that was drafted into a way worse situation. Trev’s coming around.

But if it’s about winning in tough situations, and elevating your team when things arent looking great, I’m already taking Trevor Lawrence. If my team is losing in the playoffs, having to overcome a rough start, my WR1 is hurt and my offensive line’s been sucking all game, and I have to find a way to win…. Lawrence >>> Herbert he’s already proven it multiple times
