apparently the Boston dates are their only US headline shows this year so… I think that ramps up the odds of Rancid at Riot even more!

Makes me feel more hopeful for some Doom Regulator too!

 

if the Foo Fighters are playing Riot, it does make me pretty confident in the Breeders' Last Splash play since they are opening dates for Foo this year (including around Riot)

 

It looks like the Queens of the Stone Age will be making some kind of announcement this week because they posted “It’s our special week!” I’m going to take that to mean that the auction info was legit and the lineup is coming this week.

 

Foo Fighters & QOTSA being headliners makes me much more confident that I'll be skipping this year, it's gonna have to be an insane middle & undercard for me to travel

 

Qotsa have a single coming out on the 11th thats on the new album they are dropping. That could also be the news

 

Me too... And so far out of all the bands that are "locked" there's very little interest for me.

 

With not having seen Foo Fighters since 2011
(And finally had tickets to the summer tour last year before Taylor's passing) I could not be more ecstatic if they are actually playing Riot.

 

i'm already seeing both at louder than life, so i can most likely skip this year

 

I rarely ever go because of the headliners. There have been years I haven’t watched any of them.

LS Dunes announced a tour with no Chicago date. I remember an interview where Anthony said they were finding a way to to play Riot again next year. So maybe?

Coheed has an open day between Wisconsin and Michigan during Riot weekend so Travis could make a quick stop for it

 

maybe we get LS Dunes and Coheed!

 

Coheee is playing Chicago the Tuesday after Riot. Im confident we get Thursday and /or Saosin tho!

 

Would love either, but would be particularly stoked on Saosin.

Figured they had a date. Was mostly just messing. But would love both of those and maybe LS Dunes again.

 

This makes me like Foo Fighters being a Riot Fest less. They’re at almost every major fest this year.

 

Between artists already playing Chicago this summer and those that wouldn't fit the vibe, there's not much overlap I could see here aside from the Foos, Tegan and Sara, Death Grips and Mars Volta?

With Thursday playing War All The Time at some festivals during September/October and with Saosin playing Translating the Name with no Chicago date. I have high hopes for both

 

Someone mentioned The Breeders as they are opening for the Foo,and this makes then more possible

 

And it’s the 30th anniversary of Last Splash…

 

Bowling For Soup tour with Mest doesnt have a Chicago date and in the midwest during Riot weekend
