A frustrating match in some regards but very happy with six wins in a row

it’s San Diego. And it sounds like the USL club is gonna get pushed aside. Local radio guy has been saying this for some time now. With that tweet he said he still doesn’t know what SD Loyal will do but hopes they can be the first city to support MLS and a USL club.

In a surprising turn of events, I’m going to my first MLS match tonight. Nashville-Chicago.

Just fucking gross man. I feel for Nate so bad. He was fucked by the ownership in Lansing and now he is getting fucked by the MLS after finally taking control of the Loyal after really being the head coach for the past few years.

This is the juice on why I can't ever support the MLS. I get their package for free because of my cell coverage but I will never give a dime to that league. It's bizarre to me that people in this country love this league and stan it every chance they get.

Edit: Not trying to call you out Garrett either, I can see how that optics between our posts can be misconstrued.

I met Soccer Moses tonight. He also had a yellow card shaped like a Ten Commandment that just said “thou shalt not.”

Kinda wild I made it to a Nashville MLS game before a Knoxville USL game, but I swear they are at the most inconvenient times and days. Once their new stadium is open in 2026-ish, it’ll be so much easier to get in. Should still go.

Nashville has an amazing stadium. Highly recommend visiting it if your team is coming here.

Probably a dumb question, but I’m guessing there’s no chance the MLS integrates any lower leagues?

Kind of feels like until they do that, the league will never truly catch up to the European or the top South American leagues

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

MLS owners will never go for relegation. They refuse to risk their investment and he held accountable for putting out a shit team.

Notts County, who finished just behind Wrexham in the National League, are currently down 2-1 in the single leg playoff semifinal to Boreham Wood, who ended the league season 35 points behind them.

Just saw that. I think that league really needs to embrace the Serie B model in Italy: if 3rd place is 10 or more points ahead of 4th, they go up automatically and the play offs cease to exist.

Just seen that Hertha Berlin beat Stuttgart yesterday. Gives Hertha a shot at surviving relegation, and is an absolute nightmare result for Stuttgart, leaving them in the relegation play off spot.

The way Spurs do their statements is fucking mental. Thought he’d died or been arrested or something
