I picked up the SSTB one back at Warped Tour in 2005 I think? Wonder if I still have it at home.

 

I still have the first few original comics somewhere in my closet. I wonder if they are worth anything

Band was incredible last night. First time seeing them since like…2010? They sound better than they ever have honestly.

 

The first time I saw them was probably '08 while they were touring on NWFT. I've seen them every 2-3 years since and they only ever get better. They are ridiculously tight these days.

 

How was Ladders of Supremacy?

 

going on Thursday! I've seen them a bunch of times over the last 18 years and they are just so consistently good

 

Insanely good, but kind of a weird closer. Crowd energy was really high during the songs before it (Disappearing Act, Liar’s Club) and then Ladders is more of a “stand there and watch” type song lol.

On the Brink to close out the main set though…holy shit

I can see that. I know they’ve already got to be exhausted… but how cool would it be to just go straight into the closing minute of IKS at the end of it.

 

Per usual, they rocked last night. I have never seen so many 10 year olds crowd surfing

Also totally forgot I saw them 2 years ago lol

I will say as great as the set was last night, closing with Ladders if Supremacy didn’t work nearly as well for me as I expected it to. Maybe the crowd and I were tired, but it didn’t have the impact you would think it would as a closer

 

I saw a comment on the subreddit from someone saying that SSTB vinyl sold out 20 mins after doors opened at their show, and the merch line was 30 mins long. I wasn't planning on getting there before the doors opened so now I'm nervous

 

Just grabbed a ticket for tomorrow’s show, will be my eighth time seeing them and the first time since the tour with Mastodon and Every Time I Die in 2019. Can’t wait, four years is too long.

 

I'm going tonight, pretty sure I saw them do all of NWFT at Neverender like 12+ years ago or something, wild. If I'm being honest I would prefer a Vaxis II supporting set but that's what I get for missing them last summer.

 

I think they’re playing just as many Vaxis II songs after NWFT as they did during the summer tour.

 

What I want is a Vaxis I Neverender with some Vaxis II songs thrown in

They were so fucking good tonight, Josh is an absolute blast to watch. I thought Ladders worked really well as a closer too.
