It’s an unfortunate result for United given the chances they had in the first half, but Brighton had so many good chances in the final 15 minutes that it’s probably a deserving win.

There's varying reports going round. Some stating United have a budget of circa £100m plus sales, some stating less.

The Athletic have reported that United's transfer business is funded by a credit facility with a limit of (I think) £500m, and that with last summer's spending we're about at the limit - essentially last summer we borrowed from this summer's budget to afford the signings. Obviously the Glazers aren't paying that off, and aren't putting any money into the club to help outside of that.

United are broke and totally hamstrung by the sale situation. I could see some signings sure, but reports of £100m+ for Kane or Osimhen are fantasy. Mac Allister probably the same given what Brighton will ask for, which is what Fab is referencing.

Not bad tbh, sometimes Nike's cookie-cutter template kits do look good.

 

I've long maintained that the shirt sponsor makes or breaks a good kit. That Liverpool shirt is lovely in its simplicity and uniform red and white.

Just imagine it if instead they had that horrendous Chevrolet sponsor that United suffered with for years.

And it's really not a big deal for me, but I can't believe how long Spurs have had a red sponsorship logo on their shirts.

 

The white looks very vibrant. The shame is that will probably fade after a few washes and therefore look dull in the process!
