Damnnnn new bass is sick!

 

Mark just went live to show off a new lime green bass covered in various fruits with faces lol

 

it seemed like it was kinda in and out. sometimes it was distinctly Tom. other times, I wondered if Mark was singing...obviously, it had to be Tom sometimes with the harmonies though.

 

There is something about hearing Tom sing BTD that just did something to me.

That is cool. I did not think it would happen. I wanted it to happen. Wow. Just validates the last 8 years and the music they released without him.

 

Listening to Tom playing Bored to Death makes me even madder they didn’t play that at Coachella. Sounds so goood.

 

I love that these guys literally play partscasters haha.

 

BTD wasn’t too hard to pick up on but the Cynical video was tough lol

 

Maybe the new album is just going to be California redone with Tom.

 

Tom sounds pretty good on both those songs. I didn’t like California, but it’s cool to see them celebrate the Skiba era

 

I could hear him fine on both. *shrug*

 

I had my doubts that Tom could sing "Bored To Death" at all so I didn't think they'd play it, but it sounds like they decided just to tune down for it. Which is surprising but awesome. I can't remember another time they've tuned down from the studio version of any song.

 

Tom instead of Mark.

Guess it also depends on what you're listening to it through. I only used my phones speakers. Could probably hear better with headphones

 

I had it on my Bluetooth speaker.

 

Tom sounds killer on both songs. Hearing Tom on the haunted house line from Rabbit Hole would be rad. Said it a bunch but at every stop, this reunion has exceeded expectations. loved the chorus shoutout on the blink italia post. It' where news breaks baby!

 

Okay upon further review I would like to hear Tom on many skiba era songs. I wonder if BTD and Cynical will get a big crowd pop.
