This is what I wish TW sounded like tbh but at least we get both now! Preordered as soon as I saw and listened to the new single after. It was very rewarding.

 

Wow very different vibe from CNJ. I like it, probably not enough to preorder but if I like the album on spotify I may pick it up.

 

New Heavenward

 

2/2 - total banger. I’m more excited for Heavenward than Teenage Wrist these days tbh.

 

Kamtin was the magic that made Teenage Wrist great imo, they're just fine without him but I don't think I'll ever like any of their new stuff as much as Chrome Neon Jesus or any Heavenward material

 

Sadly in the same boat even though I really try to give TW a shot on their new stuff. The past two singles from TW have been misses for me.

 

I think the last TW album was the best thing they've released, which gives me high hopes for this new LP. "Sunshine" was a good first single, not so sure about "Diorama," but maybe it'll grow.

Anybody listen to his other project The Chain Gang of 1974? More synth-pop in style, but still reallyyyy good

 

The most recent album (like 2021 I think?) was amazing and got me through some late nights working. It was great.
