I showed my girlfriend two matches from BOLA '15 and she totally enjoyed both of them but acted like she didn't because she still attaches the generic stigma to it. Her loss, and hey, it's guaranteed "me" time when it's on, and that's a commodity.

 

Yeah, Total Divas is a solid way to get your significant other interested in wrestling.

Mine went to the post-draft SD with me and recently to a RoH house show front row with me. Had a decent time at both. I'm getting major brownie points though by not going to RAW in November the week before we vacation for our anniversary (it's the go-home for SS which I don't anticipate being great).

 

My wife is the reason I've been to two wrestlemanias and she already bought plane tickets for the next one.

Also we were thinking of going to Dallas for TLC but they announced the Rumble here and I said "good, now we can save for that and not go to Dallas" and she said no we are doing both.

Crazy part is that she isn't even a die hard fan and doesn't even watch most of raw or smackdown. She just has a few favorites and really loves being there live.

 

I don't find anything wrong with either wwe reality show, it's just something to entertain you from time to time. I don't feel shame for watching it.

 

Lady friend is the same way. Will watch PPVs with me but sort of tunes in and out. Very rarely watches Raw and SD with me. Loves going to live shows. Mania in SF was my Christmas present from her and my first Mania ever. We're trying to make it a tradition now every year.

 

Yep, same for me, my girlfriend wasnt really into it and started watching a little at WM32. Since then she's turned in nad out, but after we went to see RAW live a month or so ago, she's super into it.

HATES Charlotte and Kevin Owens, but loves Bayley

 

I enjoy people judging Cena's actual life off of a reality show, as if it were 100% legit.

 

Felt the same way after going to 30. It's such an experience

 

Wish I could have gone to Battleground this year, but I was out of town. Seeing Bayley debut, Sami/KO, and the Shield Triple Threat live would have been sick

My girlfriend and I met because we're both wrestling fans, so I never had to convince her to put up with it. We went to Takeover Brooklyn together though and are going to the holiday show at Barclays in December too

 

She's understanding of my undying love for Sasha so that's nice too

 

The guy in that reddit threat did a pretty good job breaking down the marketing side. Basically, none of those packages are real, but, they are trying to find price points and content that people would pay more for.

But if they could get the ROH catalog, I would LOVE that. I'd definitely pay more for that in a heartbeat

Must be nice. I think showing my gf the Takeover:Brooklyn match didnt help. Kayfabe is still pretty real to her, so, pretty sure it made her hate Sasha more. Kinda scared to show her the Ironwoman match and her taking Izzy's headband

 

The free plan is literally pointless lol 5 hours is like two ppvs in 30 days Lol

 

Probably enough to convince someone to buy.

I will say, after I did 2 or 3 months of free trials through various emails to watch the PPVs, it became pretty clear it was worth $9.99 just to watch the attitude era stuff.

Now with CWC and potentially new promotions, its a steal to get it so cheap
