I saw something today that showed that the players HUGELY underperformed their expected data (xG, xA etc.) under Potter. Even Lampard has come out today saying lots of them are too passive and "nice" to play against, they lack aggression and allow the opposition to control games. But with Spurs the way they are at present, surely they are in a similar boat, allowing their opponents total control at times & getting swiftly punished for it - if Potter couldn't turn that around at CFC would he be that much better at Spurs?

I am torn because on the one hand it's good for him to play in La Liga and I think he'd be wasted in the PL, but at the same time I'm not sure Madrid is the right place for him I must say.

    Vini Jr - Mbappe
    Camavinga - Tchouameni - Bellingham - Valverde

They could do a lot worse than that midfield/forward grouping. I’m just assuming Mbappe goes there at this point.

I know nothing about soccer, have watched for only 2 years but potter seems to be a great builder who doesn’t put together great scoring teams/tactics. Brighton is over 2 goals per game since RDZ arrived.

  5. Fab refuses to acknowledge Inter Miami as Messi’s next destination. It’s getting more and more likely.

He was recently spotted moving back into a house in Barcelona, though... (me turning into the clown emoji)

  7. I’d say it’s between Miami and Barca. But it’s just been weird seeing Fab report nothing on Miami when there has absolutely been consistent contact between Messi and Miami.

I’m sure the allure to play for Barca again and play under his former teammate Xavi would be cool, but I can’t imagine passing up the opportunity to play for a true legend like Phil Neville.

He’s gonna rock up, shit house a 1-0 win against Pep with 1% possession, take that £2.5m payout, and ride off into the sunset.

The allure of being managed by Phil Neville is just too much to resist.

Still never been to an MLS game. Kinda wanna go to LAFC before I starting "hating" them as a San Diegan.

Looks like Reiss Nelson is off to Brighton. Happy for him. I think he's really kicked on lately and will do great.

It's his ankle. Probably saving him for Real Madrid and the end of the season

Pep is also being really focused on the health and fitness of the players this season, particularly trying to get them through a whole season and all primed at the end. The end of last year made him really focus on that it seems. I think Sam Lee has mentioned that?
