There's definitely a lot Skiba did singing wise that it's hard to picture Tom trying but Left Alone could work

 

That's how I imagined "Bored to Death" (which is specifically the only reason I was skeptical that it would get played) so I'm excited to see how he handles that one!

 

I’m so hyped to hear Tom sing Cynical. That ending could be really cool with him.

Even if it was, it wouldn’t be as wild to me as another band this situation did happen to.

Punchline’s first lead guitarist/vocalist Paul left the band after Action due to having become a drug addict. On the next album, they wrote the song Flashlight. Which, according to Steve at a show once was about “how you shouldn’t put stuff up your nose.” Haha! Paul later came back and they stopped playing Flashlight. But after a few years, they busted it out with Paul and I was blown away. 1. Because it’s about Paul and he was playing it. 2. It sounded GREAT with him singing it. At the time, I never thought I’d hear it live again. It’s been a staple again since, although Paul did move on again, but on good terms.

I’m sure they have a few songs to switch in and out, unless this is the complete list and every night we’re getting less than this haha

 

"We don't need to hear songs from this album I don't personally like, they should instead play the song they play literally all the time" is a take that will always amuse me.

 

I'd like to hear Josie instead of one of the Neighborhoods songs but otherwise it's a perfect fine setlist.

 

Yeah Josie and Not Now are the big absences.

Substitute those two for Don't Leave Me and Ghost On The Dance Floor, and it'd be a perfect set.

 

Wait, all this talk about Bored to Death. Was it on that setlist? I need to look again. It would be awesome to have it performed with tom...just out of curiosity sake, well, and because the song is awesome. Hope tom does it justice...wait, is it really on the list? Lol

They played Not Now and Josie on the 09 reunion tour. I’m okay with not playing them. Josie rules, Not Now is okay.

 

Oh? There was no era for the earlier songs? Hmm, maybe not. And i guess CA and Nine were "skiba era". I jut was under the assumption Mark said the whole catalogue or something. It's been awhile, so i can't remember exactly what he said now, but yeah, i just assumed. Oh well.
