I like to think I would've immediately recognized Bunny Levine and Kirk Fox when they showed up in the first ep. They're both just way too recognizable to me. And if neither of them being there tipped me off, I think seeing Biff Wiff at Margaritaville would've been the final nail in the coffin (flop).

 

I find it hard to believe that Ronald isn't in on it, some of the shit that happens is so over the top ridiculous haha

 

I agree it didn't seem plausible that Ronald wasn't in on it, but the finale felt relatively genuine.

 

I haven’t finished it and I am enjoying it. But I think the one thing holding me back is that you think that he would figure it out pretty quick. But I also think there are a ton of people out there who are totally pop culture-averse that it could work. The guy playing the judge really acts like every judge I’ve ever seen.

Ya know, I'm surprised to see this get the brutal reviews its getting. It's a little shlocky, but idk, it seems like entertaining murder mystery fare to me. Some of the actors and characters are great, some are awful lol, and I think the flashback format could be daunting for some but its not really bothering me.

I'm into it

 

Never watched the Jessica Biel show based on the same story, but I'm enjoying Love and Death so far. Biggest complaint is Krysten Ritter's wig.

 

I'm sure it depends which you saw first. Id like to say I'm confident that the Biel version is way better, but it also might be because I saw it first. Its a classic salacious, lifetime style murder mystery. They both have top notch actors, they both have quality behind them, fun outfits, fun accents etc.

But of course there's no need to do this twice lol

 

I would be curious to watch Candy after finishing this for the comparison, but ya idk if it's worth it ha. So much tv to watch already.

Super dumb question time… How are shows affected by a writers strike if the episodes are already written and filmed?

 

What do you mean? Do you have an example? If the whole season is done, it really shouldn’t be affected. Unless the studio behind it delays it to lengthen the timeline on having a new show airing.

 

They’ll eventually run out or if they didn’t finish the season, the season will abruptly end. For those that are shooting, they can’t do any rewrites.

 

Nevermind. I saw an article mentioned Yellowjackets, but they were referring to production for next season and not this one. Carry on lol.
