also I saw Pinback last night and completely obsessing over their discography (more than usual). I really need to check out the other Rob Crow projects.

the band Disheveled Cuss opened for them which is the solo project of Nick from Tera Melos. they killed it. if you guys haven't checked them out, highly recommend.

started digging through Rob Crow releases and currently on this band Heavy Vegetable (unjustly not available on spotify).

absolutely mindblowing they've never been mentioned on this site. it's like a bouncy, energetic mix of Pinback and early American Football--actually reminds me of something like a mathy version of the recent The World is a Beautiful Place album. probably belongs in the math rock thread but who cares.

 

I saw Raffaella open for Charly Bliss tonight and had only heard of her through @incognitojones recommendation in this thread and I have to say she fricken rules, great rec!

I was at a bar yesterday and heard L-Trip, immediately fell in love and tried soundhounding it but kept not getting results, it was also too loud to make out any of the lyrics. Spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to find it, with literally no other clues besides Indigo De Souza’s “The Water” also playing at some point while I’d been there. I finally found it and came here to post and immediately saw this lmao

 

Casual reminder that The Appleseed Cast is one of the best bands ever
