But constantly talking about how the league is dying and we need to get new blood and the league is dying every other day is more detrimental to the league than anything else in my opinion

I think the last week before I simmed there were 3 or 4 games at the most played total in the whole league. It's not fun trying to hunt down people to play and having people just drop out without saying anything. I guess it is just better to let it die then to try something.

 

This league will forever be my #1 and #2

The longer the playoffs take the faster people will lose interest, phone numbers might work better or some form of group chat like line, it seems like ever since ap board went down that interest has been up and down/generally declining, I'm not saying I'm not guilty of it, but I try to be around although I do go missing for a day or two sometimes because I just forget because of school stuff

There's no doubt about that. Like I said, this league clearly isn't and won't be like it was in its prime. That's a given at this point. Expecting it too be only hurts the league, but in its current state it can still be enjoyable. I still have plenty of interest in playing games even if there's a few CPU games mixed in. I always want more users if we can get it, but the league's not "dead" like some of these whiney bitches try to make it out to be.

How about we keep this one going, then for those who wish to revive it make a secondary league and try to recruit for it. Then next madden we can just combine the leagues and be healthy again.
