their Roxy show must of been a blast. excited for this summer setlist!

 

My 17-year-old-downloading-Weezer-demos-and-rarities lizard brain just perked up.

 

He’s going to reply to a DM from a 22 year old woman, meet her at the Santa Monica Barnes and Nobles once, never talk to her again and secretly write an entire opera about his forbidden crush for her, then it will get scrapped and one boring line from that project will be repurposed in a cheesy song that rhymes Hannah Barbara with Nissan Xterra.

Totally expect him to go the other way and announce, like, a quadruple LP out later this year

 

Maybe he'll get rid of some albums

I don't take what he's saying as a sign they're going to release less stuff, just an extension of his whole philosophy of "if you don't like this album, there's always the next one."

 

Yeah, I don't think he can help but release music. Dude's a monster. And he knows he's retiring at 60, so he's putting out as much as he wants/can until then. I'm here for it.

Guys, he’s married now so he can cut his hair short and rock a goatee if he wants to

 

I think he’s the one who looks like Dante from Clerks.

 

It's the one that doesn't look like one of the guys in Weezer that have been in Weezer for twenty years

They were absolutely amazing in Maryland tonight, this setlist really feels like it's for the fans and not the general audience. This resulted in a pretty dead audience for a lot of it but I was loving every second of it, I never thought I would hear Pink Triangle or Getchoo live
