we know theyre going to be releasing an album so i'm really not worried at all but, not seeing it mentioned at all in the release makes me think its further off than i hoped it would be.

Yeah, I'd guess a late summer or early fall release.

But it makes sense for them to drop a new song before the tour even if they're not ready to release details about a (potential) new album.

Production isn’t my favorite, but the song is too good for me to care. I’m so happy these guys are making music again. Tempted to make a road trip to Spokane or Boise to see them in October.

I'm glad I wasn't losing my mind yesterday thinking the mix sounded really weird

  9. As a song, I really like it, super solid, but as to what my expectations were for how it would sound, I'm also in the it's mixed a bit weird to my ears, and I wish it went a little harder camp. Never not liked anything Brian Fallon has done, so expect to be totally in on this album, but it's not a "oh holy shit" single for me on first few listens. Good, but not next level. And my expectations for one of my faves of all time is always "plz be next level."

Sleepwalkers is in my top 3 of Brian’s albums including TGA discography, and I do wish this song was on there, as it would’ve received a better mix. Also Brian’s vocals just seem to lack energy, which is ironic for the song title. I do really enjoy the instrumentals and lyrics though.

Also I’ve lived in California my whole like and have never even heard of Wheatland, lol. Seems like a strange place to have show when they only have one in the whole state.

Is it the production or just age that’s making his voice sound a little weaker? I love the song but definitely think he’s lost some of his vocal power. Which is fine, he’s of course not going to be the same as when I heard The 59 Sound in middle school

I’m guessing it’s the production and a creative choice on Brian’s delivery. It hasn’t been that long since he was belting out “STACEY!” on Forget Me Not, has it?

He was belting out every Gaslight song during their last tour and sounded great. I just jumped to YouTube and threw on a live clip of “45” and he’s bringing it!

It’s an okay song. I love this band so much but I just have a feeling I’ve heard this song before. Maybe a bit too safe, or maybe I was expecting something more original, I don’t know.

Love the song! I’m not convinced the album is super far away, considering the music video for this does not feature brian in the makeup he was wearing on his Instagram story a week or so ago when he said they were shooting a new video.

I remember blaring that album the week it came out while driving to coast to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary. Lol.

I think this is a stand alone single, just to hype up and reintroduced the band before tour . I don’t think it will appear on the next album

It’s probably track 1 on the new album. Def has that vibe.

the vocal production doesn't do it for me but everything else is great. melody is classic Gaslight and the guitar leads are particularly fiery.

it's funny because whatever effect they're using on the bridge REALLY works for me, even though it's kind of pointier(?) than the rest of the song.

it’s like 40 minutes north of Sacramento. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere but they just built a hard rock casino there. There is also an amphitheater out in wheatland where I used to go to warped tour back in the day. As a sacramentan, it’s closer than the Bay Area but just an inconvenience to get to
