A friend of mine dated a guy named Moose. It was a nickname, but still, bad sign.

 

This is a current topic that I think we all have had or currently have experienced, and in my experience, the easiest thing to do is always assume that if a period of time passes then the other person is no longer interested. This could also be interpreted that they are playing "the game", a commonly referenced hot topic among men and women if you read online blogs about 21st century dating. Now, I don't know how much truth there is to this as it could just be nothing but an assumption made to help someone feel less hurt, but, it's arguable, that with texting there comes with it the extra attention to detail of getting to know someone as opposed to those face to face conversations. With that said, I guess unless you feel that the person you are speaking to is worth your time, you can quickly decide how much of your time you are willing to give to the other person without feeling too much guilt, but this is just an opinion.

Also didn't want to negative nancy up that post but today I decided that the worst part of being single is not having someone to bring you ice cream (or, take care of you in general) when you're sick

 

i may or may not be breaking up with my gf of 2 1/2 years. i'm basically depressed af and she requires a lot of emotional support which i'm unable to give atm. not really sure what is best for me right now

 

Have a date planned for next week. Not sure what we're going to do yet.

 

First time alert! ending a quasi-relationship over a traffic accident:

Me: slow down
Her: we're fine
Me: That car (in front of us) is going super slow
Her: I can see that! Why are you so tense whenever I drive?!
Me: because I firmly believe you don't see anyone else - brakes! Hit the brakes!
Her: we're fine!

*crunch into the car in front of us*

Me: I fucking told you!
Her: it's not my fault they slowed down for no reason!
Me: it's a red light!
Her: quit yelling!

*silence*
Me: long sigh then I start giggling
Her: I think my insurance is expired. Where are you going?
Me: I'm gonna walk home. Five miles ain't that far.

 

Huh. I wonder what actually having that would be like. Sounds great.

 

This is why I make someone else drive whenever possible. I almost got hit by like 5 ppl yesterday so I made my friend drive the rest of the day

 

I can definitely see how it makes me look bad, and probably in some ways I was. I've known this girl since high school and have driven with her countless times and she's always been a bad driver. If anyone comments on anything she's doing wrong or if she's not paying attention she instantly is defensive and kind of turns into Trump and blames everyone else.

And while this was the first time I was with her when she had an accident, this is at least the fifth time she's had a car accident that can be labeled as her being at fault.

Two DUI's before turning 21, who knows how many speeding tickets, gone through 4-5 cars, insurance is more than my rent, snap chats, texts and other shit while driving. She's a terror behind the wheel of a car or a grocery cart.

 

Yeah, I couldn't date someone who was a careless driver like that. Putting others at risk because you have to snapchat or text while driving isn't ok.

 

Yeah i get that. I felt like my other post was maybe more aggressive or what have you than I intended which is why I deleted it. I think all of that background probably changes the scenario a bit, in my mind it was someone who you'd only been seeing/known a short while for some reason. Probably assumed too much.
