I heard Preacher Man on a sampler of sorts and liked it, but it was the TIHC 13 or 14 live set that sold me on them.

Would be stoked to see them on S&F

I am just finding out that set wasn’t streamed and I’m sad because that set was INSANE. For counting worms right when the ARF ARF part there was a massive rush and there was at least 20 people on stage trying to stage dive so they had security going and it was crazy.

Definitely see more inclusion of hardcore at next years fest

not saying anything qualitatively but im shocked a guy that sounds like that is the vocalist for the 1a/1b biggest hardcore band

 

I think Bryan sounding like that is part of the the reason why they’ve gotten so big. That and Isaac being an exceptional heavy songwriter are the two things that separate them from just about every other metalcore/ metallic hardcore band from the last decade.

 

Bryan’s vocals are a big part of their appeal imo

 

I don't dislike KL but I think the vocals are the thing that keeps me from liking them more tbh

Regardless I think it's super cool to see a band that sounds like them get to the level they have

 

right but in comparison to turnstile, maybe the only hxc band that's bigger than them, the vocal styles couldn't be more different haha. KL is basically a metalcore band, yeah, comparing them to hxc probably isn't fair
