Cassadee Pope – “People That I Love”

this track is great! Would love an EP or full length from her in that style I miss hey Monday but this is good too!

She's announced this will be the style for her next album.

 

I think as far as “pop punk” goes, it’s closer to “My Ex’s Best Friend” as opposed to “My Friends Over You”, but not a bad song overall. It’s at least cool to hear her voice in a song like this again.

I was afraid this tune would be super generic sounding, but after listening to it, I actually really dig it. I still would've preferred her getting back together with Hey Monday to do this track, but it was still enjoyable!

 

does anyone know if any of those dudes are still in the music scene? shes the only one i know that kept going

 

I'm unsure to be honest. I haven't read/heard/seen anything from them since the Hey Monday days.

 

yah i remember they were a five piece for their full length and then a four piece for the follow up EP and then just hearing about cassie afterwards.

 

Could be an on Avril album. Its good.
