I've got a handful of them and I can admit they never see play. I think my Alchemy Index is the only thing that get spins.

I even have the rarest variant of ... Is a Real Boy 10" set and I don't think I've spun it since I got it solely based on the fact they're on 10".

I don't know how Vagrant justifies pressing full lengths on 10" but it's just plain silly.

I wonder if 10" records are just easier to get produced than 12" ones since that's largely the prevailing format and there's been such a backlog at the factories for so long. Weird trend for sure, though. I hardly spin anything that isn't a 12" these days.

I have no clue. But I do know Vagrant is the only one consistently doing it.

  4. Yeah that’s fair. Mine don’t really get a whole lot of play either tbh, only bc of the changing RPM obstacle. But I don’t think they get any less play than my 7” records do

Any good recommendations for a sturdy turntable stand with decent storage space (100 - 200 records) and some room for 2 x bookshelf speakers? Nothing jumped out at me when I searched this thread. Thanks.

    Happy RSD!

I'm at Pop Music in downtown Toronto and there's at least 50 ppl here. Geeeez (damn Swifties). And it's pouring rain. This will be a fun 2.5 hours standing around haha.

Hope you all get what you're looking for!

Had to make a $400 car repair so unfortunately I’m missing this year which sucks because there’s a lot of stuff I wanted to pick up :(

There’s about 15 people ahead of me, and I know there’s only 4 copies of 1975 available. Fingers crossed

The prices for The 1975 vinyl on ebay are astronomical. May you all get at cost!

Had a death in the family and won’t be able to make it to my store until what I assume is too late for The 1975. If anyone sees one and isn’t getting it themself - but is feeling generous enough to help a stranger, I’d gladly overpay you back.

I did grab Dismemberment Plan which only had one copy, and the live Diiv record so not a total loss

Used to be much easier to get the stuff I wanted on RSD when I lived in my parents town with relatively small record stores and a lot of people with different prerogatives musically. In Indy snagging a super limited 1975 double lp seems borderline impossible.

  19. Which Indy stores you heading out to? I’m gonna try to hit up Luna Indy CD and SquareCat

Sitting in my car because of the pouring rain. Shop doesn’t open until 10.

Gonna snag Long Pond. Will try to see if 1975 and TWY are here as well

Got here at 645 am thinking I’d be early. I was 40 people in line store opened at 9. Very much hoping I can get a 1975 and wonder years but I’m losing hope on 1975

Almost everyone in my line was there for Taylor lol. I could have grabbed one because there were ten left but I figured I’d let a fan get it instead

  23. You’ll probably be able to buy the swift album for way under retail in like two weeks on discogs haha

I stopped going earlier years ago. I can't handle lines, and it's actually snowing right now so maybe that's for the best. My shop got soooo many Taylor copies, so I'm gonna wait a few hours until the Swifties have likely gone through before I head in.
