Getting a nice little buzz and then hitting a bowl with the hour I have, so hyped.

  4. I was high when I saw 2013 in theaters opening night and I will not be making that mistake again, lol

Haha, why? Definitely needs to be elaborated on.

  6. I historically do not handle weed well, so being very high (even with my best friend) and being in a packed theater seeing probably the bloodiest movie I'd ever seen was just...a lot. Even if I loved the movie.

Holy shit! Technically I rate it the same as 2013, but this definitely gets a slight edge. Cast as a whole was great; loved Danny. The whole turntable element was sick.

I totally get it. I got too high off an edible and chugged an energy drink being seeing Scream 5 in theaters and had to leave right during the opening sequence because I thought I was having a heart attack.

  9. The first time I had an edible was in the phase of my life where I was smoking every day anyway so I didn’t heed the warning of “eat only a little and just wait it out”. Shit kicked in real heavy as I was watching a show called Nature’s Deadliest, each episode themed around the deadliest animals in a certain part of the world. Extreme detail about what the animal does to you and how you die, 3D renderings and everything. That was 2011 and I have never had the same relationship with pot since lol. It’s heart attack country almost every time now

This seems to be the general consensus amongst those who enjoy the original series and 2013. It's very exciting. I cannot wait for tomorrow! I want to ask so many questions but I truly want to go in as blind as possible (having seen the first trailer).

  11. Yep. I guess I didn't learn my lesson because I had a tincture a couple of years ago and tried to watch Body Melt. Had to tap out because I also thought I was going to have a heart attack lol. I don't think I'm a weed guy.

Also, my theater FINALLY confirmed that they have Beau is Afraid, so guess who is cutting work tomorrow to catch this at 7pm directly after that? Lmao

  12. Anyways, gonna unfollow now until then. I hope everyone enjoys the film!

  13. There’s this open little crawl space area in the rafters of our garage and when we moved in a few months ago we noticed there was a random old suitcase sitting back there. My girlfriend’s mom has been visiting for three days and has not stopped bugging me to go get it down so we can see what’s inside because she thinks there’s money in it. Like bruv have you even seen Evil Dead? Or like any horror movie ever? This house is 100 years old I’m not trying to necronomicon myself

It was pretty cool. Think I prefer 2013 but not sure.

  19. Yeah, still prefer 2013 but this was super bloody and fun, just about everything you could want from an Evil Dead movie. Only minor complaint was the amount of fan-service moments. The chainsaw is a given, but stuff like the eyeball scene and repeating Bruce's line felt kinda lame to me

Otherwise, fun time at the movies!

This was pretty fun. Doesn’t feel super essential or anything but not bad. Played it pretty safe in terms of the series.

Favorite deadite line “I gotta kill the creepy crawlies in my tummy” *chews wine glass *

Best time I had in a theater in years! Huge reaction in my theater for Mommy is free from you titty sucking parasites

Used to live in a janky century old apartment like this so I just really loved every bit of it.

Ah, nevermind my post in the horror thread - I see you listed some here. I get what you're saying and the eyeball scene was a bit much, but I think it still works within the framework of what constitutes an ED film. However, both that, and Bruce's line obviously sailed over the heads of those I went with. I loved the nod to Henrietta with the pizza though - even though that is a much more subtle thing.
