I posted on Reddit and EA Forums the other day, no hits at all. People don't want to join a league so far along when they can hop into a new league imo.

That is plenty. Pausing or starting over will be the death of this league.

We have 17 committee guys and 20 total at this point.

We aren't pausing. If 10 guys want to play, we'll play with 10 guys. Obviously not ideal, but we can push through until there's new blood. If we pause the league, like Slamfist said, it is as good as dead anyways. Same goes for starting over.

Berto and Packers dude are still in I'm pretty sure. Tay Tay boii is out. League isn't sim enough or something for him (aka he just sucked balls).

 

The advantage of starting over is we have a chance to get new guys in the league. There is no way we can add new blood to a 2 year league in my opinion based off of my recruiting. I honestly think we could get another 10 guys if we started over. There is already so many simmed user vs cpu games.

Maybe it is dead either way though.

 

Also not having Daddy Leagues really has killed this year, EA shit the bed.

 

yeah everytime i try to recruit and i tell them we are at the end of season one, they either wane in interest or say nah

 

You start over, you gain 10 randoms, you probably lose some. Hell, I'd even be far less interested in playing my games if we did restart. Especially consider if we got 10, at least half are gone by seasons end, just the reality of getting random guys from boards. Probably less then a 50% success rate.

It's not getting up to the glory days of 32 max this season regardless. That would be a fantasy. I'm fine playing with what we have now as long as the 15-17 keep being committed and playing their games. Unlike most, I enjoy the CPU games more than in the past because it's not a guaranteed win for me. It's actually legitimate competition. Something that's better than me at this game. Mix that in with a solid group of user games it's still enjoyable at least. We should implement a free win though for user-user games to give the ones that don't play the loss. So some don't have any incentive not to play their games. Get through a few decent seasons, keep recruiting and maybe snag one or two, then we'll make some major adjustments to hopefully add a bunch before the start of next year's game.

Maybe we can do some re-alignment if someone wants to switch, but I definitely don't think a restart puts us in a better place.

 

Yep, it's impossible to keep the "when all games are finished" thing up because 1) I can't advance remotely and 2) I can't look up the games without logging onto my xbox. That shit has pissed me off the most.

Yeah I wish the Commish could do division realignment in game. I think you can move teams in owner mode but can't in what we do. Move the Steelers to NFC East.

Also...I'm in another league with Adam, and he is very active and actually wins games over there. I know he has a negative history here, but at least he will be active. I think we should give him a shot.
