I'd love to hear them play some +44 songs. I've seen blink and AVA, and I had a ticket to see +44 but they cancelled their Euro tour (maybe I'm not over it yet...)

I was deep in the weeds on work while flying and nine ended up playing front to back 3 times and I was loving it. historically I have said i’d prefer the feldman songs to be an album and the pop cowrites to be a separate ep where they just went nuts. I was loving IRWIHY, Happy Days, and Darkside.

it’s such a mood album for me, but today it was ripping.

 

Seems so unlikely on this tour but hopefully they get weird with the setlist after the proper reintroduction to the world.

 

Nine is a very good album. California is a pretty good album.

Both absolutely blow Neighborhoods out of the water.

Listening to White Reaper right now. I'm liking what I hear, glad I'm getting them at the Brooklyn show.

 

Im not precious about those three. It depends on the day for me. Today NINE is hitting big time.

 

Hahaha, I justified it by the rising cost of other shows I would normal attend. Basically the cost of two shows that I’ll have to sacrifice

 

I was "blink at Coachella" years old when I found out the lyric in Reckless Abandon is "too high, got vertigo"
and not "too high up there to go" which is how I've been singing it since 2001. I'm 38, and not proud of this shinfo.

When I was a kid I always thought the chorus to Damnit was:

'like a sissy growing up'

 

when I was 8 and got dude ranch I naively thought the lyric was ‘did you hear the thunder?’ ….that is not the lyric.

 

Hey, Tom sings the wrong lyrics to stuff all the time and he's IN the band, so I feel like we get a pass.
