It’s a shame we will likely never get to hear Pin The Grenade live.

I went to the final day of that 2019 tour with Lil Wayne in Brooklyn, and I'm pretty sure that was the release day of NINE.

So they technically never toured with the album officially out. I think at my show they played I Really Wish I Hated You and Darkside.

All of this seems accurate except Generational Divide was played a handful of times on the Enema 20 tour.

You bet! I'm bummed we never got a proper NINE tour, but of course COVID happened and a subsequent tour wasn't meant to be.

Then Covid times so yea it never really got its chance.

Agreed. Covid definitely killed any chance of a proper Nine tour. They probably would have went overseas to tour it and then a short US run of shows before going back to the studio.

It’s really funny to me that the band hyped up Rabbit Hole to be a permanent staple in their sets only to never play it at all

  11. Yeah Reddit made the band feel horrible about it so they decided to just never play it, which is a shame since it’s one of the best songs on Cali. Fuckin entitled Reddit dorks tweeting the band members directly telling them how much their song sucks is so shitty.

A shame they never played "Left Alone" either. That one is a little weird though I guess since they almost considered leaving it off the album due to being similar in tone to "Bored to Death"....even though it's the best song on the album.

I saw them play "Online Songs" in Hartford in 2001.

Emo will forever be one of my favorite Blink songs. Recent, weird story about that one. I've been introducing my kid to their music, and played Emo for her a couple times on a drive home. That night after she'd went to bed and fallen asleep, I heard a loud thud from upstairs in her room. I check the room camera and, you guessed it, she fell right off the bed. Haha. First time she did that, but somehow stayed asleep like a champ.

I was also at the Hartford show in 2001 too, they didn’t play it then. They never have.

I also saw Blink in 2001 and couldn't remember whether or not they played a specific song for $1000.

I distinctively remember them playing it and noted that it was unplanned and their sound guy would be pissed (said sound guy could be seen flipping the band off in a joking matter). Are you sure you aren't thinking of the 2002 show in Hartford w/Green Day where they did NOT play it?

After watching the Blink set from last week, I watched a Lolla set from 2017 with Skiba and while it’s fun, it’s missing the hilarious jokes and banter between Tom and Mark. Matt was pretty quiet and just let Mark joke around with the crowd and it just had a different vibe. How I’ve missed the Tom / Mark dynamic. Glad to have it back.
