Apart from the last 3 minutes of Bull Believer this is great stuff

 

This album rules

 

One of the highlights of the album for me. Pure catharsis.

pretty easily my favorite release of the year so far, formula one is such a tune

 

Blows my mind that a song as good as turkey vultures can even be a thing

 

I'm obsessed with the refrain she carries throughout the whole song

 

Okay fuck it I’m through restraining my hyperbolic praise for this record: there are like maybe 2-3 albums at most that I’ve enjoyed as much as Rat Saw God that have come out in the last 5 years or so. (And one is Boat Songs haha.) It’s incredible, just stunning start to finish.

I finally got Boat Songs the other day. What a great record. The entire record is a run but SUV to Tastes Just Like it Costs really does it for me.

 

They’re opening for Isbell on a few Midwest dates in September, good to know that the love for this band doesn’t stop with current DBT members

 

saw some wednesday fans concern trolling the fit and it’s like guys the venn diagram of dbt fans and jason fans is a circle lol come on

 

I think there are definitely Isbell fans who don’t care about DBT at this point but they’re probably the minority still. And regardless, anyone who likes DBT and is headed to a Isbell show is 100% going to get there early and rock out with Wednesday. They’ll have a good crowd for an opener at amphitheaters/big theaters/whatever

 

Saw them last night. See them on this tour. Band is at the height of their powers right now.

 

This album is in my rotation almost daily since it dropped. Cannot wait to see them in June.

Triple post and I hate to dunk on ya but this did not turn out to be correct at all in my humble opinion

 

Bull Believer is the best song of all time, so

 

i don’t agree with zac but i see where he’s coming from, it’s the best single off one of the best albums of the year?

 

Yeah I just meant that I like a couple songs on here even more

 

Yea I think Turkey Vultures, Got Shocked, Hot Rotten Grass Smell and Bath County are my true favorites but Chosen to Deserve is great. Record is my clear album of the year as we hit the halfway mark for releases, would be pretty surprised if something surpassed it.
