It is crazy that Mussolini was essentially the 1910's equivalent of A socialist shitposter/podcaster taking a hard right turn the second other leftists criticize them.

Also until now I never really thought of fascism through the context of it being originally set up by ex-socialists who appropriated the revolutionary tactics, language, and organising they learned towards furthering ethnocentric nationalism.

I've never actually seen a gun shop in New jersey before but I was driving out in southwest NJ today and I passed a gun shop and it was located right across the street from a park with a playground that children were playing at and I just thought to myself well that just sums up how dumb this country could be doesn't it
