lmaoooo bummer. Would be cool to see him pop up at some point. Not expecting it anytime soon. He just announced a project with Atom Willard and the Hunter form AFI. Rad to see him busy making a bunch of cool stuff.

I have now watching this set two times. This band just hits different

 

Really hoping they don’t go radio silent and the press picks up a little this week

 

I wonder if Tom switching everything over to digital has helped his guitar playing as he doesn't have to worry about doing anything with pedals and can just focus on playing each part.

 

Ya compared to the past his riffs were hitting. I think he messed up the bridge to first date a little and kinda laughed at himself, glad he's owning his mistakes. Refreshing.

 

Mark flubbed a few bass notes too but he kept playing like nothing happened haha.

 

I saw it posted earlier and got the video, but no idea how to take the audio from it and rip it seperate. Anyone have a link to just the audio?

 

Watching this again and seeing all the reactions to it makes the 2009 reunion years pretty sad in retrospect. I really enjoyed those years but man, don't think there was a performance that good from these 3 during that time.

 

I plan to do it in a little bit, just want to finish writing up my newsletter with thoughts on last night first. I'll share a link when I cut it up.

Not sure if this is allowed so sorry if it isn’t, but can anyone point me to some good quality downloads of the TOYPAJ bonus songs? I realize a few of the ones I have are awful YouTube to mp3 rips from back in the day.

 

Finished cutting it up. Need to do some post processing on it to sound a bit better. Will then upload.

Ok, here's what I did:

I used the upload from Archive.org, which looked to me to be a direct stream rip in HD.

I cut it up to individual tracks of wav files, kind of following the MTATS model of where to put the dialog and looking for good places to make the edits so everything would blend together nicely.

I did very minimal post processing to clean it up just a bit and then encoded it as 320 MP3 files.

Everything is tagged. I'm listening back to it now and there's a few artifacts in a few places, but I remember those last night as well and I didn't want to process much on the audio itself.

Enjoy, please no one sue me for sharing this.

Update: I did a little more editing to the files to increase the volume and clean up the audio just a bit, it was bugging me that it sounded so low. I think this sounds a lot better:

Just watched Travis & Kourtney’s wedding special on Hulu. It’s a nice watch! Still makes me very happy Mark was in attendance for it

 

Need to be on record in this thread at this time. Wow. The set was epic. Today I spent an hour or more reading through all of the comments in here starting from those on Thursday, and it was great to see everyone having such a great time. I got to relive so many of the thoughts and emotions from when I watched. Can’t wait to rewatch sometime soon. My first concert ever was mxpx and blink some time around 1997/98.

Thank you, Blink-182, for returning in full form! Such a fun show last night via live stream, can’t wait to see them live in June.
