I'd be really curious to know what percentage of their ticket sales were from before the lineup was announced and what was from after the full lineup was unveiled.

From how it sounds on social media, seems like most tickets sold were from before any part of the lineup was announced.

In the social media group, it’s def seems like people are getting their money back from their card companies specifically because of John D being an idiot and all his social media postings. The saying he would give a refund if you didn’t like the lineup etc.

No. The video will be shared for free on social media. But it will be deleted five minutes later due to legal concerns over John D doxing multiple thread members.

That's what they think anyway. John D actually has all of their names and addresses wrong, though.

It's hilarious that people are like, "They said I couldn't get a refund but then I shared screenshots..." LOL

 

def seems like you have to have your homework in order. I saw someone say they submitted screenshots, teases, different variations of the lineup, who he teased, comparative pricing for other bigger festivals. But people seem helpful in giving you those screenshots of him saying he would refund anyone who didn’t like the lineup, the bullying etc.

Should just be sharing around a .pdf titled "How To Get A Refund For Your Bamboozle Ticket" at this point to make it easier for everyone haha

Bamboozle replied to a friend of mine and said it was because Martins wife is pregnant. And like, with some insta searching, she is, but it doesn’t seem like an unforeseen reason 3 weeks before a fest

I mean, fair. But the issue is that they dont mention the cancelations on their social media nor try to find a replacement.

 

Honestly I wonder if the cancellations are a blessing to John at this point. That’s one more artist he can’t afford who’s voluntarily exiting their contract.

 

I’m confident he can run a more ethical festival

The Boys Like Girls situation still seems odd. If his wife is pregnant, surely they’ve known the date for like 7 months now. Seems weird to wait until 3 weeks before a show to cancel.

Obviously in any other circumstance I’d assume there may be some complications or other personal/medical reasons for the last minute decision, but the fact that it’s Bamboozle makes it too suspicious
