I remember my girlfriend and I sat down to watch Game Night about a year ago because I kept hearing it was this modern classic. We made it about 20 minutes in before we gave up.

Turns out we were watching Date Night.

 

Game Night is funny but it gets its hype from being one of the only good studio comedies of the last decade. It plays like a masterpiece comparatively
