Yeah, I'm definitely trying. I'd like to finish rebels before the Ahsoka premiere in August, if possible.

 

Rebels is good from episode 1.

 

It’s just crazy that it’s targeted toward children (as all Star Wars usually is) but a good chunk of what I’ve seen takes place in a senate hearing where they are talking about funding wars and deregulation and all this other things kids probably have no interest in lol

 

That being said, the episode where they are trying to get Ziro back and he sneaks off with his girlfriend… the voice work for Ziro, the girlfriend, and the mom… lol

 

I guess it was 'for kids', but my kids have never been interested in it. Some arcs are super dark, some are pretty boring for kids.. it's sort of all over the place, where a lot of traditional kids shows are just laugh after laugh or action after action.

 

Rebels is for kids the same way that the Star Wars movies are. It’s not just for kids and at times it treats kids seriously and didn’t hold punches at times.

 

Rebels defffff has some clunker episodes in it but to me, there's far less filler there than Clone Wars

 

I need a youtube recap that’s better than just a 5 minute high-level overview of both shows. If anyone has something like that in the 20-30 range i’d love to see them, I just don’t really have the time or patience to sit through so many episodes of each show.

 

the problem, particularly with Clone Wars, is there isn't an overall story that the show has so it's not easy to do a recap video. It's just a bunch of little stories in 2-5 episode arcs and then it moves to something else. And then maybe later on they will touch back on something that happened earlier

 

Disagree. Rebels is always good. It does get better and better, but it goes from good to incredible.

 

There's literally an entire episode dedicated to Chopper getting lost because he saw a new foot lol. There's def some bad Rebels episodes.

it's probably my favorite Star Wars content that isn't the original trilogy, but nothing is perfect lol

 

Chopper rules though.

 

I get that it's a "kids" show but it's hard to accept that at face value in a show where Ahsoka beheads 4 Mandalorians at once with her lightsaber. Also, Umbara (all my homies hate Pong Krell).

 

I liked in Rebels when the grand inquisitor beheads the two imperial dumb dumbs.

 

Violence has been a cornerstone of children’s entertainment for decades. Itchy and Scratchy is a joke about how violent kids shows are.

Clone Wars seems great, but I’ve tried I dunno how many times to find a way in and I find it impenetrably dull

 

Now I know you're not Tom Delonge. He could never find anything event remotely alien centric dull.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone do a 20-30 minute recap of either series. Clone Wars would be hard to do. One could probably be done. But everyone should just watch Rebels.

 

The track is literally called Niamos, and there’s multiple versions throughout season 1. The composer said he had the idea to make what would be a hit song in this galaxy. The different versions showing how the song might change from planet to planet and culture to culture. The other two versions are from the club at the beginning of episode 1 and from the gathering at Mon Mothma’s apartment mid season.

It's being reported now that the Rey film will most likely release first with a 2025 release and the New Republic film will release one year later.

 

I could have sworn I saw one of The Twins in the trailer.
