Ahsoka (Disney+)

Didn't see a dedicated thread, so, here we go.

 

This is going to be the best thing that ever happened to me.

 

is this, to date, the most anticipated release? Feels like Obi Wan had a lottt of hype but, I just feel like the SW masses have wanted Ahsoka content for a longgg time.

 

Ashoka is my favorite star wars character in any medium so I have high hopes.

 

It's probably the most widely anticipated among the fandom. For me, it's Andor season 2 and then The Acolyte. Though Skeleton Crew's director's slate has been pretty interesting.

 

Ezra may be mine so this is great for everybody lol

 

This is Rebels 2.0, so yea, this is my most anticipated.

 

Thrawn is in last episode of mandalorian and then the main villain of this. I see what you're up to feloni. "heir to the empire" indeed

 

Is he in Mando? Had not seen that said anywhere yet.

 

Ahsoka is #1 for me but Ezra is a close second. My favorite thing about him is his empathy. His empathy is directly connected to his power. As he learns to trust the people around him he grows stronger and stronger in the Force. His connection to animals is a perfect capsulation of this as he always aligns their needs with his and works in tandem with them instead of using them.

Another thing that I love is his relationship with Hondo. He knows Hondo is being deceptive but believes in him anyways because of his power of empathy that he can see Hondo's heart despite his bravado and then by the last few episodes how deeply this has affected Hondo. Ezra's belief in him emboldened him and made him a better person.

 

I agree. Ezra’s actions helped bring out the better side of Hondo. With that said, I still don’t like Hondo and hope I never see his character again.

I am a fan of when he leaves.

 

If fun things exist I can always count on you to dislike them Greg and that's what I like about you. Consistency.

 

Hondo is annoying, not fun. There are many fun parts in Rebels, Hondo ain’t it.

 

The extra Sabine shots with Ezra's lightsaber had me pumped. August is my birthday month so I'm just going to go forth with the notion that this show is a gift to me.

 

Hondo is fun. I have spoken.
