Apparently Leicester are after Martin O’Neill which is so 2003.

I say West Ham sack Moyes and get in Alan Curbishley.

So the Athletic stopped the Man City podcast a few weeks ago. The hosts decided to charge a small fee on another platform to keep it going. They named it "Let me Talk" and each episode plays that clip of KDB yelling at David Silva. I absolutely love it.

It’s so depressing that this stuff still happens. But I think the attitude and language around the incidents never helps.

Clubs largely distance themselves from it. Juventus and Atletico have both had high profile issues in the last few weeks, but they seem reluctant to even acknowledge it, much less actually do anything.

I also find it frustrating that commentators will call them “so called fans”. I mean, they’re in the stadium, often the ultras sections in Europe, and are often kitted out heavily. Looks like fans to me. Saying they aren’t “real” fans because they hold objectionable views and do horrific things is just another way of football washing their hands and acting like they don’t need to do anything.

That video had the old “It’s [insert year]”, which I always think wants to elevate us above racism, as if it ended in the 1970’s and isn’t still a monumental issue in western society that affects everything.

Until clubs start getting big bans and points deductions for big incidents (not just one idiot, that can’t be 100% prevented sadly), they’ll continue to pass the buck and do nothing.

Anyway that was depressing. Looking forward to all of these players predictably starting against Arsenal and somehow beating us to ruin our title charge

After weeks of being told Calvert-Lewin is "on the grass", he is finally "on the grass".

Wrexham's game in hand kinda spoils the importance of that game imo.

I know what you mean. A win for County would be most interesting.

It’s so weird that only the top team goes up automatically. If the second placed team has a random shocker, a team could get well over 100 points and not go up.

They need the Serie B rule implementing if they aren’t increasing the number of teams going up. In that league, the playoffs are cancelled if the fourth placed team is over nine points off third.

The Football League just needs to absorb that level and then institute a 3 up, 3 down with the last place being a playoff with the a team from the above league.

Missed this yesterday - when they got relegated I really thought that would be the last we'd see of them in the PL, but they have walked the Championship this season. Vincent Kompany makes them so much more likeable too

Waking up on a Saturday is supposed to be one of the best feelings there is, but waking up to see Maguire in the starting XI feels like waking up on a weekday.

Not sure if y'all have seen these, but PRO in the US has been doing review videos of some of their VAR review and decision-making processes for calls in MLS matches. Even if there is disagreement about the final decision being made, at least we are getting a little transparency going on here:

Predict Everton to get something today, a draw or a sneaky win. We'll miss Casemiro's physicality in the middle (as we have for about the last 2 months at this point)

Since losing to Oxford at the end of January, we've gone quite a run. 12 games, 9 wins, 3 draws, 29 scored, 3 conceded. Currently sat in 2nd place, so just need to keep going and we'll be back in the Championship.

Looks like Dyche is putting Iwobi in CM to replace Doucoure. Not exactly a like-for-like replacement so it should be interesting to see. But yeah, I'm delighted Casemiro is still out while we're experimenting in the area he plays!

What will today be “I love this game” or “I never really liked football”

judging by AWB’s first pass I’m going with the second option.
