    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I think $94 is pretty reasonable for that lineup

Welcome to 2023. You aren’t getting a 1 day festival with bands like that for less than $100 especially at Live Nation venues. It’s $35-$50 to see any of those top bands headline. I don’t see how $94 before fees is unreasonable.

A good 50% of this thread is delusional when it comes to expected ticket prices these days

Going to shows alone >>>> Going to shows with other people.

    And it’s not even close.

There’s pros and cons to both going alone and going with people. If people want to go with me great, if they don’t also great. As long as I go that’s all I care about lol

100%, unless someone you're with is a super fan and knows proper concert accompaniment etiquette (i.e it's ok to get separated, staying to the end, etc), it can be a drag.

Yay for the $10, 5-band hardcore show I've got next weekend keeping things cheap for me...though OBX is for lovers will probably get me to break the bank if Thrice is playing an Artist set.

Instead of going to shows, I just sit at home and remember refusing paying for shows that were over 20 bucks in college. RIP

EDIT: I recall in 2011 seeing a two band bill of two of my all time favorite bands (further seems forever and me without you) and I almost didn’t go because it was 33 dollars

I go to 80-90% of shows by myself and meet up with friends later, but I've gone to a couple of shows with friends and gotten drinks beforehand and it's been a lot of fun!

Just saw this and thought it was interesting. Basically Avenged Sevenfold will give points to their fans that buy merch and physicial music, go to their shows and stream their music the most. And with these points they will be able to buy tickets beforehand.

I think is a pretty good idea that could help fans get tickets instead of scalpers

Same, wont do it with A7X, but hope more bands do it. Big tours like Taylor Swift should have done this.

Im not into blockchain, nfts nor web3 stuff, but it says it wont cost anything to join. So I will be down to try this.

Taylor Swift did something similar for the rep tour. Was very surprised she didn’t do it again this time around.
