Like if Big Thief isn’t gonna make a record that sounds like “Not” then this will definitely do.

I know “Not” is on Two Hands, but even the composition of the artwork reminds me of a southern gothic reconstruction of the UFOF artwork.

I've never really listened to this band but this shit RULES. Also was unaware MJ Lenderman was in the band; his album from last year also ruled.

 

per usual for me, the lyrics on this are really great but I’m revved up by next to none of the song structures/musicality. Not sure this band will ever fully hit

Damn, I haven’t heard of this band until today. I like this a lot. I’m glad Turkey Vultures is so good. They’re my favorite animal and it would’ve been sad if the song sucked

 

I feel like Bull Believer would make a good closer to the album
