i don't think he will, for pride's sake, but i'm not shocked if he withdraws after today.

Sam Bennett, reigning US Amateur, took offense to Gordon Sargent taking all of the amateur hype this week and decided to go nuclear today.

The guys better get their birdies while they can considering how tough the conditions may be as we approach the weekend.

 

Still a lot left in his round but kinda wish Rory would have made his presence known on the front nine. These slow starts always doom him at Augusta.

 

so tired of the hype bernhard langer gets. dude is an actual cheater with the way he uses that fucking mop handle putter. shit drives me nuts.

Brooks is gonna need to start putting more birds on the card if he wants to be top 5 by end of day. Feel like the big dogs are gonna run today. 1 birdie thru 7 is decent but, gotta get the putter locked in.

i'm watching with sound off at work so maybe i'm missing something, but, is there something special with corey conners? the masters broadcast is devoting entiiiiiiiiirely too much coverage to a guy who is +1

 

They’re doing that with Danny Willett too who is +6, haha. Masters coverage is always awful. Idk how they can’t figure this out.

 

sorry for continuously Brooks-posting, but, man - its insane that at 12 under he actually is almost disappointing. He looks so fucking BACK right now, he really should be at least 14 or 15 under, he has not manned the putter as well as we know he can this week so far. still thrilled so see him playing like this.
