Why is it that every local lower league team that plays us always acts like absolute fucking goobers.

James Maddison to Spurs being reported again this morning. We’re “the favorites” and I actually believe it. Levy wanted him last summer and Conte said no (shocker). I think it finally happens this summer.

Also who is or was the Ipswich supporter in here? We have a connection now that Detroit City has one of your former payers in forward Ben Morris. Our manager was on the Ipswich staff for a short period back in the day so I think that is part of the connection.

Enrique is in London to talk with Chelsea today.

Maybe it's just my bias of wanting Nagelsmann, but I feel like Enrique is the better fit for Chelsea.

 

Getting Raya and Maddison would be nice. We need a Hugo replacement and a creative midfielder so I’ll take that every day.

Raya, Maddison, 2 CBs....if that was the entire window I'd be happy lol probably still need a bench wing players. But just the 4 spots I mentioned alone would drastically improve the team.

That's cool! Morris never really made it in our first team, played a few games but mostly was out on loan. Hope he does well.

The Phoenix Rising owners are also the Ipswich Town owners, wouldn't be surprised if there's eventually a game or two played in the USA by us.

I’m watching Feyenoord v Ajax now just to see Slot’s team in action. It’s been a fun match so far. Second half might get ugly though. Some hard tackles the last few minutes.

I get the frustration with Antony, but writing him off completely is way over the top IMO. Do we not give young players at least a year anymore to acclimate and work their way through things? I think you can tell he’s no longer holding on to the ball, slowing things down only to pass backwards. He’s head up and trying to more the ball forward quickly and link up more which is encouraging.
