Damn, Rumours is one of my favourite songs from them. Jealous of anyone who made these shows.

 

Night 3 contains many of my favorites. So so so jealous!

 

HOW IS THAT THE FIRST TIME PLAYING SUDDEN URGE

 

That’s actually the only song i did not like at least a little bit from the new album.

 

Night 3 was the best night and it was my birthday so it was extra special.

 

Ugh, Night 3 was the night I was supposed to go to and they played Rumors. One of my all-time favorite songs.

No repeats? but they closed with Savior every night haha.

Honestly, there are a few tracks I’m very surprised they didn’t play. Like… Life Less Frightening and Good Left Undone.

Great to see so many other awesome tracks though. Anywhere But Here, Rumors, the Black Market songs….

they should do this Metro residency thing to close out each era moving forward.

 

Seeing Rise Against for the first time in years supporting Blink in Australia this week. Have been on a full discography run. My key takeaway so far is that Wolves sounds even worse (quieter, muddier) than I remembered. Almost shocking that they let it go out sounding like that.

 

It’s a shame as I really like a lot of the songs on there.

 

I’m guessing it’s because they didn’t go to The Blasting Room for that one?

 

Yep it was done by Nick Raskulinecz, which I had completely forgotten as this doesn't sound like the records I usually associate with him. Bill Stevenson wasn't available at the time, sadly.

 

I like what they did on Wolves. And the bonus tracks rip too. It was a nice change from the production sound they've basically had for 15 years.

 

I really enjoyed wolves but the production on it is really bad.

 

Hopefully doing an internship at the blasting room soon so I’ll tell bill to mix it up a bit next time

I didn't actually mind Wolves when it came out (especially since it was a big step up songwriting-wise from TBM) but Nowhere Generation does just show that Bill is on another level with this band.

 

I wonder who the openers will be!

The emails with the tour announcement haven’t even gone out. I’m a member of their emailing list, will prolly be early tomorrow morning or late tonight

 

The band have done the new record in California with Catherine Marks so... task failed successfully? :D

 

New Album is supposedly coming out in January
