I also feel like they should have had this in a smaller venue. A sold out 3-4 K venue is a lot better atmosphere than a half empty basketball arena.

It’s definitely been strangely booked. TK has had a glaring problem with his booking for months: really good matches, but zero motivation for story for those matches. I think AEW is starting to balance those, but this ROH show is just really good matches for the sake of really good matches. So far anyway.

That makes me think FTR loses Wednesday, but goes to ROH, and ends their careers there on a taping schedule that is family friendly, and have some bangers with AAA/NJPW anyway due to the ROH connection.

Also, FUUUUUUUUCK that Dante Martin spot. Absolutely reckless...and unlike the Luchasaurus/Fenix one that was just sort of unlucky, this one had no shot of not being shitty. Penta sometimes does those destroyers so violently in those spots...

 

Eddie should have won. If Mark and Eddie both go over that event is 10x better.
