All well and good doing it now, when we already have City and Newcastle lol. But it’s a step in the right direction, as long as it is implemented correctly. Suspect United will be the first test.

Going to be watching City - Liverpool in Dublin airport, and then flying during our game. Not ideal conditions. Going to be very nervous.

Slightly unrelated but are baby gender reveal parties a thing in the UK? In this case it was at least a pretty quick and cool thing but generally I am not a fan.

Yeah, they are. I mean, both my niece and nephew had one!

dunno about the UK, but they're a fairly new thing in Ireland. when my sister had her kids in 2005 and 2010 she didn't learn the sex of the babies until they were born. that was just how it was done here.

Gender reveal parties only became a thing after Pinterest blew up, right? I never remember hearing anything about them until the last 5-6 years.

I always preferred gender reveal forest fires.

I have no evidence for this but it seems gender reveal parties exploded (pun?) in popularity following the social media age and the goal to "one-up" everyone else. Which has resulted in a lot of actual crimes.

for me it felt even shorter than that unless my perception of time is off. Feel like Pinterest was already well past its peak. My mind doesn’t really associate the parties with any other development, seemed totally random.

  15. Seeing Kompany come up for Spurs manager. I know he’s doing a great job at Burnley but I feel like it wouldn’t go well.

Step down is a funny way to say he has been banned from football worldwide.

    Absolute clown statement.

So frustrated with how the club has handled all this. It’s such a joke.

No manager and no director. Normally that would be a recipe for absolute disaster, but Spurs are so weird and full of chaotic energy, I think they might actually end up winning a ton of games.

  23. It’s definitely a disaster right now but it’s also a good opportunity for the club to regroup and put these last few years behind us. Hire a new DoF and manager together that have the same outlook. You always here about managers liking “the project” at a club. This is the time we let the new guy come in to start a new project and move forward.

From what I know of agent fees from other players, think its far to guess that like 25-35 was for him. Which still would put his transfer "fee" at less than 100 million and at like 86m (if the amount I have seen people on Reddit saying exactly what it was is 34m) which still is a helluva of a deal.

Egyptian giants Zamalek unexpectedly went down to Sudan's Al-Merrikh in the African CL earlier tonight - so fans marked by forming a disgruntled human emoji in the stands.
