i was reading through recent comments and I had this exact same experience. I’m likely skipping future UO shows for two reasons: not enough setlist variety, and the other reason I’ll not stir up in this thread, but it’s related to their upcoming tour.

 

Am I Mandela-effecting myself? Was the album ever listed as "So Much For (Star)Dust?"

Has anyone already said this? “Flu Game” reminds me of MCR.

 

Still half and half on the song, but love the “Please I just need someone to hold me” part in “What a Time.”

 

I haven't listened to anything other than this album since Friday. Just on repeat in a loop for dayyysss.

I’m wrapping up my 9th listen now actually. I’ve been doing an Andrew McMahon discog run leading up to his album this week. I also snuck in a little Starting Line. But yea, I’ve jammed this a good bit and have played along to Other Side, Heartbreak, Grudge, and WATTB a handful of times each on bass.

One of my favorite moments on this is the cross fade from Patrick’s falsetto to the guitar lead in What A Time

 

I don’t miss the long song titles because just having pop culture references as titles is neat enough for me.

 

I like being able to go from Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying (Do Your Part To Save The Scene And Stop Going To Shows) right into XO, title wise.

I don’t understand what this means.

 

It means I can’t tell you how songs like The Pros and Cons of Breathing or 7 Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen) sound unless I’m actively listening to them lol. But I know pretty easily which songs Uma Thurman and Dance, Dance are haha. And I can sing along to all of their songs just fine, but I have trouble remembering the longer titles.

 

Interesting. I have zero problems with that. I can hear the start of both of those songs as I read them. Brains are weird.
