I feel like her tweets started showing up very recently, but at the same time coulda sworn I’ve beeen seeing her username for a few years now. Either way had no idea she used to be a right winger

 

She did a podcast called Fever Dreams where she talks about her background and there's a piece in the New Yorker about her. It also made me feel incredibly old.

 

Also she is similar to Rupar and Acyn to me by clipping the Fox News shows, her twist seems to be taking that concept and targeting it to TikTok and people her age and younger with more commentary. It's a smart play.

 

2020?! Goddamn didn’t realize she was that young either haha. But that lines up, she’s the same age a lot of my former students are that actually found me on social media after they graduated and from what I’ve seen of their socials, they all got very politically aware and active thanks to Trump. My not thought out at all theory is one reason why Dems have been doing better than expected in 18-20-22 elections is the older Gen Z kids got super activated by Trump winning and they’re still voting even in midterms and everyone’s priors have not yet adjusted for young people voting more than they did 10-20 years ago

maybe…but chances are we’d get more years of a Senator Porter than a Senator lee
