Not like any of the three bands put on an amphitheater spectacle to make it any different than a Ballroom sized show anyways

 

I believe that Sum 41/Simple Plan tour did fairly well so I assume adding The Offspring can still draw 6-7k people a night. May look a bit empty in an 18k ampitheater but that's what Groupon/upgrades can help with.

 

Every show on the Sum 41/Simple Plan tour was slammed. I think they all sold out. Great pairing that could've actually done small sheds in most markets with some papering.

 

im thinking maneskin going to arenas on the fall tour was a mistake. allstate arena, msg, the forum and td garden are all selling like absolute shit.

 

This was the lineup last year.

 

maybe people just really don't like them despite the heavy handed push by the industry to make people like them

 

They always struck me as a "sounds good on the radio because people passively like it - and the industry can leverage them as the 'band with guitars of the moment' for discourse - but nobody will actually give a shit IRL" kinda band. So I'm not surprised to see a tour that size isn't doing so well.

 

I think the tour would do well if it was 4-6K venues with $60-$70 tickets. I think the fact that the openers just toured together for a much cheaper price definitely hurts this tour. It’s going to struggle like Sad Summer.

 

I snagged a mid-level seat for that Offspring tour for $90. I figured I spent $50 to see Sum 41 and Simple Plan last year, so adding $40 on top of that for a headliner isn't too bad. I'd never a million years spend $400 for Platinum though.

Underoath is on a banger of a summer tour

It's 4 bands. Underoath and 2 of the other bands are on the Inkcarceration lineup and the other is a new band.

 

I know this prolly isn’t the lineup but underoath tgi wage war would be sick

Underoath, The Ghost Inside and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster sounds like a tour most Chorus.fm users would want

 

Except for The Ghost Inside being cringe.
I would give a kidney to see Dallas perform some of those OG Underoath songs

 

TGI is correct, negative on the others

 

I thought people liked TGI. I don't listen to any of the bands just bored and thought that would be a tour that the general Underoath fan on this website would like.
